Grade 7

I can’t believe that this school year ended quickly! It seems like it only lasted for an hour. Everything happened so fast.

It seems like it was only 2 hours ago wherein I started writing my first ever blog post, “Journey As a Pupil”, which was all about me graduating elementary. It seems like it was only an hour ago wherein I was writing my blog posts, “Bring It On, High School!” and “Blessed”, which were all about my experiences in high school so far.

Going back to the topic of 7th grade, all I can say is that it was a blast. It was a really good experience. Although I received a lot of projects, assignments, and stressful exams, I really learned a lot from it. It taught me that I should really work hard in order to reach my goals. As what Robert Callaghan or Yokai from Big Hero 6 said, “If you like easy, my program isn’t for you. Nothing great comes from easy.” It also taught me that I should have a lot of patience and a good sense of leadership since I am this year’s class president.

Journalism
I also had a few opportunities most especially in journalism. I became the Science and Technology page editor of our high school publication. It really came as a surprise because I am the only freshman or 7th grade page editor of the school paper. I also won as the champion in the DSPC wherein I battled out sophomores, juniors, and seniors in our city.

Friends
I met a lot of new people who later on became my friends. I became friends with the people that I least expected to even have a conversation with.

EXTRAS
This school year is officially over since the persons in authority already announced that it is the end of classes, but we are still required to go to school for our science investigatory project’s defense because it is one of our major requirements as sci-curr students. That means that our class is still going to have more bonding moments. We are also not worrying about who our classmates for next school year will be because we are still going to be classmates for the next 3 years (perks of being science curriculum students). But, we’ll surely miss our classmates who’ll be transferring schools or who’ll be transferring to the regular program.

Grade 7 has been one of the most challenging year levels so far, but it surely molded me into becoming a better person. I just hope that grade 8 will surpass it. I hope for the best in grade 8. As of this moment, I am looking forward to more opportunities, more memories, more friends and new experiences.
