You taught me so well

You were there when I cry

And also when I smile

You played with me when I was a kid

Because I was a good grandkid

You were a brave man

Also a loving one

You gave me a lot of protection

And also tender affection

You were my guardian and my friend

In this journey that wasn't supposed to end

I wonder how many things i can no longer do

For I can no longer be with you
