1. My complete first name is Mariela Anya.
2. I'm 12 years old.

4. I am an only child.
5. I live in General Santos City,Philippines.
6. I am a Roman Catholic.
7.I am currently in 7th grade.
8. My favorite color is pink.
9. I still have never transferred schools. I have been studying here since I was in the nursery level, when I was 3.
10. I was born with Spina Bifida and got a successful operation when I was just 2 days old.
11. I love writing.
12. I have been joining writing competitions since I was in 4th grade.
13. I have joined the division level for journalism 4 times, regional level- 3 times, and the national level- 2 times.
14. I tried radio broadcasting in 4th grade.
15. When I was in 5th grade, my main event was Copyreading and Headline Writing.
16. In the same year, the Science and Technology Writing made its debut in the competition. However, the teachers did not know it, so they just picked me and made me join Science Writing- without any prior knowledge. Yes. I had double events.
17. I only got the 10th place in Copyreading and Headline Writing.
18. But, I got the 2nd place in Science Writing.
19. I became the editor-in-chief of our elementary school paper.
20. This year, I competed in the DSPC again- but in the high school category. I copeted against sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Gladly, I became the champion.
21. Aside from writing, I also have a high interest in music.
22. I attended Yamaha School of Music for 3 years. (April 2012- November 2015)
23. I took guitar, violin, and voice lessons.
24. I was able to attend 3 recitals and 1 mall show.
25. I only stopped going to Yamaha because of my hectic schedule and because my former teachers resigned.
26. I have two guitars. I got my newer one from Yamaha and my first from a local mall.
27. My first guitar is fuchsia pink.
28. I like pop, country, rock..maybe, and classical music.
29. I like young adult and fiction books.
30. I love reading.
31. The book that caught my interest in reading is "The Selection" by Kiera Cass. I also love the rest of the series.
32. I LOVE HARRY POTTER SOOOOOO MUCH.
33. My favorite Harry Potter character is Hermione Granger.

35. MOST of the times, I watch the movie before I read the book.
36. I joined Facebook in 2009. I was only 6 years old. (I joined with adult supervision)

41. I used to join Math competitions.
42. I got a perfect score during my 5th grade NDEA Math test. NDEA Examinations are the most prestigious and most important exams in our school. I was the only one from my school to get a perfect score.
43. I suck at spelling. I used to spell the word 'dissemination' as 'dessimminassion'.
44. My favorite quote is "She turned her cant's into can's and her dreams into plans."
45. I use the words/expressions, 'like' and 'ughhh' a lot.
46. I have about 30 Barbie Dolls (original ones), which is peculiar or uncommon for somebody who's living in this part of the country.
47. I had my first phone when I was in first grade. My phone had a built in antenna on it so that I can watch TV on it.

50. I like being called as "Anya" rather than "Mariela" because I am more used to it and "Anya" is shorter and easier to spell. However, I really hate it when people misspell "Mariela".
